The Generals Lose Their Last Home Game

The Generals played their last home game on Tuesday February 5, against the Lady Whitehall Railroaders.

The Lady Railroaders got an early lead against the Generals. The high scorer for the Generals was Naomi Losee with a total of 13 points.

Rachelle Grover and Heidi Connors were the next highest with 6 points each. Shirley Waite had 2 points and Shalyn Scribner had 1 point.

The Generals lost 51 to 28.

 

Generals on a Roll

The Generals won against the Flying Forts on Friday January 25th on the Fort's home courts.

The high scorers for Salem was Naomi Losee and Heidi connors with 15 points each.

The next highest scorer was Rachelle Grover with 7 points and then Sabrina Cary with 4 points.

Finally Taylor Levey had 1 point giving the Generals a total score of 42.

The final score was Salem 42 and Fort Edward 28.

The Girls Come in Third

The Salem Generals played in the Hoosick Falls Holiday Tournament and came in third out of the four schools participating. The four school that took part in the tournament were Salem, Hoosick Falls, Berlin, and Schoharie.

The Generals lost their first game against Schoharie, but the girls pulled through in their second game against Berlin.

The Berlin game was a very close game- 37 to 34 Salem. The Berlin girls were very aggressive and one girl got a technical.

Heidi Connors had a total of 15 points, Naomi Losee had 10, Sabrina Cary had 6 and Shirley Waite also had 6 points. Both Heidi and Shirley had two 3 pointers.

 

Scots Run Over the Lady Generals

On December 11, 2007 the Lady Generals traveled to Argyle to play the Scots.  The game was a blow-out for Argyle with a final score of 63 to 21.

High scorer for the Lady Generals was Naomi Losee with 6 points.  Other scorers were Heidi Connors with 5 points, Rachelle Grover with 4, Sabrina Cary with 4 and Taylor Levy with 2.

 

Lady Generals Lose Again

The Lady Generals played Warrensburg Burgers on December 14, 2007.  The Generals lost the game 43 to 22. 

The Generals high scorer was Heidi Connors with 9 points.  Other scorers  for Salem were:  Shirley Waite with 6, Sabrina Cary 3, Sierra Neil 2, and Naomi Losee with 2. 

 

Salem Lady Generals Lose Another One

Friday December 7, 2007 the Salem Lady Generals went to Corinth to play the third game of their season.  The team was hopeful that they would win, but it was not to be.

The Generals lost to the Tomahawks 44 to 25.  Generals Sabrina Cary and Rachelle Grover scored 3, Heidi Connors scored 7 and Naomi Losee had 12 points.

 

Girls Lose Second Game of Season

On December 5, the Salem Generals went to Schuylerville for a game, its second game of their 07-08 season.

Naomi Losee was high scorer for the generals with 15 points total in the game. The second highest scorer for the Generals during the game was Heidi Connors with 8 points. Rachelle Grover had 6 points and Sabrina Cary 5 points for the Generals.

The Generals lost 47 to 21 at the end.

 

Girls Varsity Team Wins First Game of Season

On Tuesday 4, 2007 the Salem Girls Varsity played Fort Edwards Flying Forts.

This was their first game of the season. The end score for the Generals was with 10 point victory, 42 to 32 .

Generals Rachelle Grover scored the most points for the Generals with 18 points and Sabrina Cary was just behind her with 16 points. Heidi Connors had the third highest score of 13 points overall. Shalyn Scribner also scored that game with 3 points.
